Christmas Bingo Specials
Its been crazy at Starlight Bingo lately. We've been really busy organising the Christmas bingo specials for our players as we know from past years just how much they look forward to the specials. After much thought and discussion, we got the bingo chat specials and bingo cash specials sorted, always of course with our players in mind. We do ask them what they want, and they do tell us, so we try our best to implement just what they want in their online bingo games.
I sent out the December bingo newsletter, and already my inbox is filling up with wonderfull comments such as ''Thank you Starlight Bingo, I just cant wait for the christmas specials to begin!''. And this one made me laugh - ''Tell me how am I supposed to cook Christmas dinner for all the family with all these great specials going on?''. Of course the reply to that one was easy - You can pre-buy your cards so that you don't miss out on any games, and still enjoy the Christmas festivities with your family!
Of course whilst the players wait for the count-down for the Christmas specials to begin, there is still much competing going on for the Bingo World Championship 2008 Qualifiers. November's winners have been announced, and now play has started for the December qualifiers. Its very competitive, but I do love the friendliness that online bingo players show to each other. It doesn't end yet either because there is another qualifying round in January.
Now its down to answering the emails, which is always a pleasure, and then we will be busy with bingo gift certificates. There is always a huge increase in purchases of these in the run up to Christmas, and not surprisingly, as they make a great gift, and so easy to purchase too. Bingo World Championship
Well its been a month since I last had time to blog. A lot has been happening in the online bingo world. I am happy to say the only complaint I received the past month was from one very frustrated lady who could not remember her password. Bless her. I get days like that too, so of course I had much sympathy with her. What happened was I advised her how to re-set her password, which she did, and she logged on and played bingo for about 3 hours. Later that evening she tried to log back on, to join in with her favourite speed bingo games, and couldn't remember her new password! As a person who occasionaly has a memory like a seive, I fully understand her frustration. I advised her to set another new password, with something that she loves, and she said bingo! Ugh no, I tell her, she shouldn't set that as her password, not now that she has told it to me! Although we are all completely trustworthy at Starlight Bingo, one should always give the very best advice when it comes to account security. Of course the poor lady couldn't understand really why I was advising her against using the password she had just told me, she just wanted to get on and play her favourite online bingo games!
I also received a lot of emails the past few weeks which were really nice. Players who have heard the news that the Bingo World Championship is back on again and are so excited! They absolutely love it! And one can see why... there is $10,000 up for grabs.
I remember last years Bingo World Championship event. It was tense to start with, lots of 'GL's' flying off the screen (GL = Good Luck). Even though there was a competitive spirit amongst all the online players, there was also a great feeling of friendship amongst all. Its a wonderful event, and of course the prize money is fantastic too! I also remember one lady who had won a substantial amount in the championship, but didn't know it at the time as there was a major power cut in her area, and she missed one of the games. Of course the intelligent software continued the game for her, so she didn't lose out, she actually won, but she didn't know until the power came back on! Online bingo from behind the scenes
‘’What rewards are there in online bingo?’’ This is a question that comes up time and time again, but it is usually being asked by people around the globe who want to play bingo online. It is not a question that is often linked to the people who work behind the scenes of an online bingo site. I thought I would give you a little enlightenment to both sides of that question, as one of those people who work behind the scenes of online bingo.
